Philippa is currently working on a new limited edition book with Caseroom regular Tamar MacLellan. Mr Craggs leftover type evolved after Tamar discovered a small bag of wood type belonging to her father in the attic. The limited range of letters was used to generate a series of anagrams, and then phrases.
The images above and below show the illustrations and mono-printing in progress, alongside machine stitching of french-folded tip-ins, and sample spreads of wood-type printing.
