We’ve been working on a number of collaborative Letterpress projects recently, notably with Angie Butler on both her Letterpress Archive Project and the Your Place/My Place book, as well as Rose Gridneff’s 6×6 Letterpress project, which involves six Art Schools with Letterpress facilities coming together to share practice and research.
One of the most positive things about these projects has been that we’ve really begun to understand just what we can do with the resource we have and both of us have been in the Caseroom as much possible recently.Above is the poster My Daughters’s First Shopping List, the spelling and letterspacing were all her own — and below Smile, taken from a quote by Alan Fletcher.
