LENvention 2

Following the success of last year’s LENvention organised by Angie Butler and Hazel Grainger and held at UWE, Bristol; the event was, this year hosted by Andrew Morrison at the University of Gloucestershire in Cheltenham.

The letterpress workshop/convention, bought together nine artists and designers, all of whom use letterpress as part of their practice. Over a two day period we worked together to produce an artists’ book which responded to the question ‘Why would an artist choose to letterpress print an artists’ book?’ the finished artefact has been submitted to BookOpolis 2014 a bi-annual exhibition in North Carolina, USA.
