Raw Design commemorated 5 years of work and collaborations on 1st September at their home in Islington Mill, Salford. There was a feast of food and plenty of drinks with a DJ set and birthday-themed collaborations.They asked some of their favourite illustrators and designers (including The Caseroom Press) to create unique pieces of art based on their birthday theme, all of which were exhibited and available to buy during the evening. All of the profits raised are to be donated to the Wood Street Mission, offering practical help and support to the children and families that surround their design studio.We submitted a typewriter piece which is developed from a project that Barrie has begun to work on, a poem to Philip Glass.
