a requiem for an art school
October 16, 2014 8:21 pm Leave your thoughts Barrie has been working on a new edition of his sound poem ‘A Song for an Art School’.However, as the Lincoln School of Art is no more, the book is no longer a song, nor a lament… but a requiem. The new covers are screenprinted (Thanks to Felicity in the Printroom for helping him resurrect his screenprinting career). Barrie last worked as a commercial printer in the late 80s if memory serves. And most of the time he ran a machine, rather than doing the real art of the hand pull. But is was rather a delight to be printing again. The new edition of the book will be on sale at the Small Publishers Fair next month.Categorised in: book fairs, book release, poetry
