Philippa has just completed another limited edition book in the series she said/I said. These books were borne out of the challenges that can be encountered whilst producing collaborative work with someone who lives 90 miles away. Many of the artistic decisions about the work is made via email conversations. At the end of the creative process, when the collaborative book has been completed, there tend to be leftover elements; in this instance letterpress test prints and unused oilcloth.Taking the text-based email messages out of context and utilising the leftover test prints, enables a new book to be produced out of the remains. The quantity of books produced is determined by the amount of leftover material.
