Book Description

This book by MacLellan and Wood continues an approach to artmaking which began as a collaborative submission to the UWE World Book Night event, and the theme – Herbarium. It celebrates six examples of companion planting – the growing of different species close together to either enhance growth, protect against pests, or increase pollination. Consideration was given to the characteristics of each species, and an abstract depiction of the first plant was produced and posted between each artist to be added to with its companion.
