Book Description
The final edition of a trilogy. The books explore found china fragments from two locations; an allotment in Northamptonshire and a garden in Rutland, and focus on the edges of the china pieces and the assumption that they were at one time – all plates. Each book identifies eight different plate pieces (eight being the number of plates within a dinner service); information about traditional recipes from the two regions offer a sense of place. The pair of books are presented in an individual paper bag, each one illustrated with the key ingredient from one of the sixteen recipes.
