Book Description

This project is brought to you with the current miracle of modern technologies, AI text and image generation. I can claim no real creative input, aside from the initial idea, and the random choice of ‘authors’ (my apologies to those who’s names I’ve used, it was meant out of respect, as  I find their writings interesting).

 

ChatGTP was used to generate the texts, the full prompts are on the following pages. The imagery was all created with Recraft. I used the first lines of the cantos as the prompts and tried various generations until  I found one that appealed. Occasionally I asked it to regenerate an image, but usually I took whatever it gave me.

 

It was sometimes difficult to choose which variation of the image would best suit the text and sometimes, the final pieces didn’t feel quite right no matter what I did, but they are presented here anyway – you can make your own mind up as to whether you feel I chose correctly or not – or indeed which authors I should have added, included, rejected (for not being anywhere near the ‘voice’ of the original), or amended by asking ChatGTP to regenerate its copy.

 

Very soon it will becomes so normal to read entire books, websites, and magazines that have no human hand behind them at all, this will all be water and we won’t even know that it surrounds us.

 

All ‘authors’ and ‘authors texts’ are entirely fictional inventions,  and any similarities to authors, living or dead, is purely algorithmic.
