Book Description

This limited edition artists’ book is the third iteration of a practice methodology developed originally as part of the 2021 UWE world book night submission. The premise is to explore the interchange of ideas and imagery which emerge in response to different approaches to collaborative making. Common Ground is a visual exploration of two gardens based 79 miles apart and uses a range of processes and systems to highlight a series of common themes within the north, east, south, and west sections of each location through abstract shape, line and pattern. The mixed media book is formed of two bound sections.
