Later is taken from Wassily Kandinsky’s book of poetry – Klänge (Sounds) – originally written in Russian, but translated into German for its 1913 publication,  which is widely considered to be the first true Artists’ Book. The planned Russian edition was never produced.

The texts were translated from the German by Ken Cockburn, and the typography is by Barrie Tullett.
