Book Description
Inferno is the first part of Italian writer Dante Alighieri’s 14th-century epic poem the Divine Comedy.

The Inferno tells the journey of the poet Dante as, guided by the ancient Roman poet Virgil, he descends through Hell.

The text is taken from Charles Eliot Norton’s 1891 translation. Each of the 34 original illustrations were produced with Letterpress wood and metal type.
