Book description

This book is a reworking of a previous edition that the artists deemed unsuccessful. By reviewing the original book and identifying a disparate colour palette and poor-quality paper stock, decisions were made to reappropriate both pages and structure. Discussion, disassembling the book and a return to keywords from the original concept offered new ideas and a range of pattern led processes were collectively applied to each pair of pages. Following the adaptation, the pages were halved and rotated using a system of vertical and horizontal cuts, before being pasted into position in a pre-determined sequence to form a concertina book.
