Following a proposal to submit an artists’ book for the exhibition theme Sea journeys, island hopping and transoceanic concepts, Philippa has recently completed a limited edition book entitled 8 minutes across. The 8pp book, measuring just 8x8cm, explores the 8 minute ferry journey between Kowloon and Hong Kong island. Each page gets smaller and smaller, representing the passing of time on this brief crossing of Victoria Harbour. The exhibition is curated by Imi Maufe (Bergen, Norway) and Rona Rangsch (Dortmund, Germany).The exhibition opens at Künstlerhaus Dortmund on 8 February until 17 March.http://www.kh-do.de/en/index.html
